Each month The Associated Press honors photographers for outstanding coverage while on assignment.
The winners of the November 2025 AP Photo Contest are Alex Brandon for News Photography Single Image, for his photo of law enforcement as they standoff with protesters outside an ICE processing facility in the Chicago suburb of Broadview, Ill.
Chan Long Hei and Ng Han Guan for News Photography Story, for their combined coverage of a devastating fire at Wang Fuk Court, a residential estate in the Tai Po district of Hong Kong's New Territories.
Aaron Favila for Feature Photography Single Image, for his photo of Judy Bertuso feeding her husband Apollo inside a tent at an evacuation center as Typhoon Fung-wong entered the country in Quezon city, Philippines.
David Goldman for Feature Photography Story, for his photo essay on autoimmune diseases toll on the brain.
Jehad Alshrafi for Sports Photography Single Image, for his photo of Palestinians, some of whom were injured in previous conflicts and others in the current war between Israel and Hamas, taking part in a football tournament for amputees, in Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.
Ashley Landis and Brynn Anderson for Sports Photography Story, for their combined coverage of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays during baseball's World Series, in Toronto.
