Muhammed Muheisen, AP’s chief photographer for the Middle East, Afghanistan and Pakistan, is known for a body of work that captures the hope and loss felt by victims of conflict. Recently, Muheisen traveled around Jordan, where he documented daily life in the capital of Amman and in makeshift camps inhabited by Syrian refugees.
