Reporter Christopher Sherman and photographer Rodrigo Abd of The Associated Press are taking a two-week journey along the nearly 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexico border, traveling west from the Gulf Coast to the Pacific Ocean to document life along the divide at the beginning of Donald Trump’s presidency.
