The winners for the February 2022 AP Photo Contest are Emilio Morenatti for News Photography Single Image, for his photo of Natali Sevriukova reacting next to her house following a rocket attack in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Mosa'ab Elshamy for News Photography Story, for his coverage of the attempted rescue of a 5-year-old boy who fell into a hole in the northern village of Ighran in Morocco's Chefchaouen province.

Antonio Calanni for Feature Photography Single Image, for his photo of a model wearing a creation as part of the Moschino Fall/Winter 2022-2023 fashion collection, unveiled during Fashion Week in Milan, Italy.

Ariana Cubillos for Feature Photography Story, for her series on Carnival celebrations in Venezuela.

Matt Slocum for Sports Photography Single Image, for his photo of Canada's Marie-Philip Poulin celebrating with her gold medal after the women's gold medal hockey game at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Brynn Anderson for Sports Photography Story, for her coverage of coverage of Winter Olympic Curling in Beijing.
